The sediment filter is the first line of defence in any multi-stage filtration system. It physically traps particles — dirt, rust, sand, silt, and suspended solids — before water reaches your carbon filters or RO membrane. Keeping this filter fresh is one of the most important things you can do to extend the life of your entire system.
